East Carolina University :   Admissions Counselor - Position #944673

The selected candidate will serve as an Admissions Officer, counseling prospective new freshmen and transfer students. Responsibilities include representing the university at college fairs and through private visits to high schools and community colleges; counseling prospective students; providing information to prospective students, their parents, and high school and community college counselors; and other duties as required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Collegiate admissions experience is strongly preferred. The selected candidate must be able to travel to high schools and community colleges both in North Carolina and out of state. In addition, it is essential that the selected candidate be comfortable speaking before large groups.  

This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.
