CACRAO Group Rate:
$139.00 per night plus taxes for historic view.
$159.00 per night plus taxes for river view.
Additional fee includes a $22.00 parking fee a day

This year CACRAO is partnering with Plastic Ocean Project!

Plastic Ocean Project is a youth-led non-profit based of Wilmington, North Carolina. Their mission is to attain science-based solutions to the plastic pollution crisis that inspire all to make informed choices to imrpove human and environmental health.

Plastic Ocean Project Cleanup: Join us for a hands-on community service opportunity with Plastic Ocean Project during the CACRAO Annual Meeting! We’ll be cleaning up Greenfield Lake, a local favorite home to diverse wildlife. Typical cleanups remove around 100 pounds of trash - your help truly makes an impact.

Date & Time: Saturday, December 6th 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Greenfield Lake Skate Park (368 Park St, Wilmington, NC 28401)

Donation Items for the Plastic Ocean Project:

• Kitchen supplies (dish soap, hand towels, natural sponges, paper towels)
• Dish-drying rack
• Garbage bags
• Plastic bins (various sizes)
• Nitrile gloves
• Toilet paper
• Printer paper & cardstock
• HP 305A toner cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)
• Eco-friendly dishwashing brush

Transportation isn’t provided, so please plan your ride ahead of time. Try to arrive a few minutes early and wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind being active in.

Join us for an optional Meet & Greet with Cape Fear Community College! This is a great opportunity to connect with the CFCC team, learn more about the incredible work they’re doing in Wilmington, and enjoy relaxed conversation in a beautiful space.

Date & Time: Saturday, December 6th 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Wilson Center, Cape Fear Community College (703 N 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401)

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided. Lobby doors will open at 6:00 PM for our event. It’s about an 8-minute walk from Hotel Ballast.
